Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026  ·  Android

This policy explains what data the GoalNexis app for Android collects, why, and who receives it. It covers the app distributed on Google Play under the package name com.goalnexis.app.

The app is published by Hillfoot Games, which is the data controller for the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. Contact details are in section 11.

The short version. There is no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number, and we never see your card details. What does leave your device is not tied to your name — but it is tied to your device, so data protection law still treats it as personal data. It amounts to your advertising ID, an app-generated identifier, and records of which screens you opened and whether you subscribed. Almost all of it is collected by advertising and subscription software built into the app.

1. What We Collect

1.1 Information you give us directly

None. The app has no account system, no registration and no login. There is no field anywhere in the app that asks for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or postal address, and we do not collect any of them.

If you choose to email us for support, we receive whatever you put in that message. That is the only direct contact channel and it is entirely at your initiative.

1.2 Information collected automatically

We collect all of the following through software built into the app by the two companies named below, and through Google Play's own billing. We chose to include that software, so in law we are responsible for what it collects. It is set out here in full.

What Who receives it Why
Advertising ID
(the Android advertising identifier)
Meta Platforms To measure whether our advertising works — whether someone who saw an advert went on to install the app or subscribe. Meta's software also uses Google's Privacy Sandbox interfaces (Attribution Reporting, Topics and Protected Audience), which can place your device in interest-based and remarketing audiences.
App-generated identifier
(a random ID created for your installation)
RevenueCat, Meta Platforms To recognise the same installation across sessions without knowing who you are. These identifiers are created fresh if you delete and reinstall the app.
App activity
(app launches, which screens you opened, when you opened the subscription screen, and when you started or completed a purchase)
Meta Platforms To measure advertising performance.
Subscription and purchase records
(which plan you bought, when, in which currency and at what price, and whether the subscription is active)
RevenueCat, Meta Platforms, Google To unlock paid content on your device, to handle renewals and restores, and to measure advertising.
Device and technical information
(device model, Android version, language, country, app version)
RevenueCat, Meta Platforms Compatibility, regional pricing, and basic troubleshooting.
Crash and performance diagnostics
(crash traces and app-not-responding reports generated inside Meta's own software)
Meta Platforms Collected automatically by Meta's SDK to diagnose faults in its own components.
Install referrer
(the marketing campaign that led to your installation, supplied by Google Play)
Meta Platforms Advertising attribution — to tell which campaign produced an install.

The app also declares the notification permission. Push notifications are not yet active in the Android app; when they are, this policy will be updated before that release ships.

1.3 What stays on your device

The following never leaves your phone. It is stored in the app's own local storage, is excluded from Android's cloud backup, and is deleted when you uninstall the app:

1.4 What we do not collect

About cross-app measurement. Because the app includes Meta's advertising software, activity in this app can be linked by Meta to an advertising profile it holds about your device, which is how it measures advertising across apps and websites. You can limit this at any time in Settings › Privacy › Ads, where you can delete or reset your advertising ID.

2. Why We Use It, and Our Legal Basis

Purpose Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR)
Delivering the app and unlocking content you have paid for Performance of a contract
Processing subscriptions, renewals and restores Performance of a contract
Diagnosing crashes and faults Legitimate interests
Measuring and optimising our advertising, including cross-app measurement Legitimate interests. There is no in-app consent step — you can object at any time by deleting or resetting your advertising ID in Settings › Privacy › Ads.

3. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers below, each of which receives only what it needs for its own stated function.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or to establish or defend legal claims.

4. International Transfers

The providers above are based in the United States and process data there. Where data is transferred out of the UK or the European Economic Area, those transfers rely on the safeguards each provider has put in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for UK transfers, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Details are in each provider's own privacy policy, linked above.

5. How Long We Keep It

We operate no user database and hold no personal data on our own servers. The prediction content the app downloads is public and is the same for every user.

6. Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. The content the app downloads is public sports analysis and contains nothing about you. Because we hold no accounts and no personal records of our own, there is no user database to breach.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Controls available to you right now

7.2 Legal rights

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at edanazcubukcu9@gmail.com. Please include your device's advertising ID if you can — since there are no accounts, that identifier is usually the only way to locate any record relating to your device. We will respond within one month. If a request turns out to be complex we may need longer, and we will tell you within that month if so.

You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7.3 Deleting your data

There is no account to delete. To remove everything held on your device, uninstall the app. To request deletion of the records held by the providers in section 3, email us at the address above and we will pass the request on.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for adults — you must be at least 18, or older if that is the age of majority where you live. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If you believe someone under 18 has used the app, contact us. Because there are no accounts we cannot search for a person, but if you uninstall the app from the device and, where you can, give us that device's advertising ID, we will ask the providers in section 3 to delete the records tied to it. Uninstalling removes everything held on the device itself.

9. What This App Is Not

GoalNexis publishes football analysis and predictions. It is not a betting service. You cannot place a bet, deposit money, or win money inside the app, and the app does not connect to any bookmaker or gambling operator. The only money involved is your subscription, which is charged and collected by Google Play — we never take a payment directly and never see your card details.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and material changes — for example adding a new company that receives your data — will be noted in the release notes on Google Play.

Changes take effect when we publish them here. Where we rely on your consent, a change does not alter what you have already agreed to: if we need consent for something new, we will ask you separately.
